Una persona che possiede un livello di inglese advanced è in grado di sapersi destreggiare con tutte quattro le skills della proprietà della lingua: queste includono anche il writing! Ciò significa che deve essere capace di scrivere testi più o meno complessi con un inglese avanzato, se non addirittura impeccabile.
Io sono quel tipo di insegnante che ripete spesso: “quando dovete spiegare qualcosa, immaginate di doverlo fare ad un bambino di sei anni. Spiegatelo con frasi semplici e brevi, così non vi impantanate!”.
Ecco, questo è un consiglio valido per tutti se non per chi vuole fare lo step successivo e passare ad un inglese veramente avanzato. Ecco perché oggi vedremo le linking words.
Cosa sono le linking words?
Le linking words sono tutte quelle parole che vanno a connettere due o più frasi all’interno di un discorso. Possono aggiungere un pensiero alla frase appena detta, oppure fare una precisazione o addirittura un contrasto.
Ad ogni modo, in inglese, come in ogni altra lingua, ce ne sono parecchie. E noi oggi ne vedremo tante quante potremo permetterci!
Le linking words più usate
Abbiamo già detto che ci sono molti utilizzi per i quali potremmo scegliere di utilizzare le linking words. Per questo motivo, le ho divise per argomento e utilizzo. Vediamole insieme.
